Traditional Independence Day- show in my hometown! 43 toller entered, somekind of record I think! Here´s how our team did:

Last show trip for this year was Nordic Winner in Stockholm. Judge of the day was respected retriever specialist mrs. Agneta Cardell from Sweden & there were 87 toller´s entered (37 males & 50 bitches). In our team we had: Reetu(C.I.B FI MVA SE MVA(N) FI JVA HeW-10 V-11 Hedera´s Go For It), Lotta (LTUW-11, EEW-11 Hummelviksgårdens Hiphurray Lotta) and American waterspaniel Aapo (HEJW-10 FRW-11 WW-11 W-11 V-11 Afire's Chocolate Robber).

In very tough competition Reetu was placed 2nd best male with res-CACIB! This was more than we ever dreamed of since there were so many nice looking males in the ring! SUPER congrats to owner Marja Asikainen & breeder Minna Ahlström!
Lotta had fun in the ring and was finally placed "best bitch 5th" with res-CAC! Congrats owner Pia Takkunen & breeder Carina Sundberg! Waterspaniel Aapo was a bit too wild in the ring and gained only excellent-->no tittle this time :/

Reetu´s critque (rough translation):
"Proper and well balanced male. Good shaped head. Nice expression, strong back. Well agulated in front. Excellent rear end and correct length in hind legs. Well composed rib cage. Coat is a bit open at the moment, but the dog is incredibly presented! Moves with excellent drive"

Lotta´s critique (rough translation):
" Well balanced bitch, with fine head & appearance. Good neck & upperline. Good shoulders back & front. Well composed rib cage. Excellent body. Fine paw´s. Pretty good coat. Moves with excellent drive, but could have been more happy"

I want to thank you everyone involved for making this trip so much fun! Special thanks to judge Agneta Cardell for your kind words, it really made my day!
Also thank you all the owners of the dogs for trusting them into my hands, it means a lot!

This was certainly Reetu´s day, he showed his best from start to finish! Reetu won the males, was finally BOS & can now add the tittle “Finnish Winner 2011”- to his name! Congrats Marja! Also big congrats Heli & Riku, your girls are flying high!

Double international show in Jyväskylä and of course we made plans to attend. No big wins but still consistently good results for the boys! Hedera´s Go For It 2 x bm 2nd with res-CACIB & Hedera´s Flaming Fairy excl class 1st on Sunday (was not shown on Saturday). American waterspaniel Afire´s Chocolate Robber won BOB & CACIB both days, congrats Tiina & Sanna!
